Instructions
- Whisk together eggs, milk or cream, vanilla extract, and cinnamon in a baking dish or shallow bowl.
- Dip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, ensuring it’s fully coated. Allow the bread to soak for about 5-10 seconds per side. Be sure not to over soak.
- Melt butter or heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, place the soaked bread slices in the pan. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy..
- Transfer your golden-brown French toast to a plate and serve hot. Drizzle with maple syrup, sprinkle with powdered sugar, or top with your favorite fruits.
